The Stewards interviewed Pauline Ryan, rider of Abroad winner, concerning the use of the whip in the closing stages of this race.

Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who admitted she used her whip with excessive frequency.

Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards suspended the rider for 10 race days, fined her 400 Euros and referred the matter to the licensing committee for consideration prior to her licence being renewed.
