Park Row bags eighth career success

Half an hour after Togoville became the winningmost horse with ten wins at Dundalk, Park Row bagged a sixth course win at the Co Louth venue as trainer Denis Coakley's gelding won the Coral Download The App Handicap under his son Ross Coakley.
Both geldings are nine year olds and while Togoville's success was gained following some below par runs recently, Park Row, on the other hand, was winning his fifth race for the Coakleys from just ten runs.
Trainer Coakley quipped “he's exciting and I'll be hoarse now for days after that!”
“What can you say, he's just brilliant. Hopefully he keeps improving, I felt coming into the race he was in good form with the vibes I was getting from him.
“I suppose well go back to the grass, we might give him another five or six weeks. We'll step him up to two miles at some stage, I think he'll stay now that he's older and stronger.
“We were all away on holidays about three weeks ago and I have to thank Michael Halford and his staff for looking after him while we were away.”
The trainer dismissed a future hurdling career for Park Row, who has now won eight flat races in total, saying “they say he jumps very very well but for me it's about me, Ross and the family having winners.
“He's nine-year-old now and he's done brilliantly for us so he won't go over hurdles.”
