Paramount gets home in finale
Paramount got home by a short head in the concluding 'Come Walking In Tipperary' (Q.R.) Handicap under Katie Walsh.
Despite swishing his tail, the French-bred, under an excellent ride (got there cantering and eventually just done enough), got home from Summerlea who had led in the straight but got outpointed in the end.
Ted Walsh trains the eight-year-old for his wife, Helen and he said: "He is what he is and he'll go to Bellewstown next week." Of course the son of Octagonal is twice a winner already at Bellewstown.
