Oxx/Kinane record a Leopardstown double
Mick Kinane and John Oxx completed an opening card double when Nebula Storm landed the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) Maiden.
Kinane who was never too far off the pace produced the son of Galileo to lead a furlong and a half from home and kept on for a length and a quarter win over 5/2 favourite Is Feidir Linn
Jim O’Neill assistant to Oxx said: “He was a little disappointing at the Curragh last time out. We probably ran him a bit too soon.”
“He’s racing twenty kilos lighter today. He’d go on better ground, the ground slowed him down today. He should get a mile and half in time.”
