After the opening race win of favourite Sevenleft things continued to go to plan at Limerick as '4s on' shot In My Pocket did what was required of him under Declan McDonogh in the #19 Munster Madness Race.
McDonogh kept it simple on John Oxx's charge, and after making all he disposed with the challenge of The Ice Meister from a furlong out, to put it to bed convincingly by four and a half lengths.
"He did what his rating suggested he would, and he's a horse which we'll keep in training next year. He's still learning and was quite green but hoepfully he can continue to step up the ladder," revealed winning trainer John Oxx's assistant 'Slim' O'Neill.
"We were worried about heavy ground and would have preferred it yielding.
"He's in the Navigation Stakes at Cork and that's a possibility next."
