Oxx continues in good run of form at Leopardstown
There was plenty of murmurs before the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden for three-year-old's, but none of the market fancies really featured as 10/1 outsider Roses For Lady held on gamely to deny the rallying Jakarta Jazz
The daughter of Sadler's Wells had two starts under her belt last season, and clearly wintered well to obilge on her seasonal bow by a shorthead.
"She is a nice filly," said Oxx of the Michael Kinane ridden winner.
"I thought she would improve from two to three,and for a trip. She will need to keep improving but we will give her a chance in listed company."
Oxx concluded, "She has an Oaks entry but she has to progress."
Aidan O'Brien's Roman Empress was pushed out to 20/1 from 12/1 for the Oaks after finishing eighth.
