The Alva Gia Handicap at Dundalk tonight saw Otterstown Lady under Shane Foley, complete a brace of course wins in a fortnight, to reward trainer Cathy O'Leary with her fourth racecourse success.

O'Leary, a sister to trainer Tony Martin, later reported "Otterstown Lady is an exceptional mare and although she has plenty of toe, is better over further. She could win a nice hurdle race in time and Shane (Foley) gave her a great ride to win today."
