Trainer Ann Reilly recorded her first success in the Corner House Bar Ballymoate Handicap Hurdle, as Oscar Wings sprang a 20/1 surprise under Phillip Enright.
The seven-year-old daughter of Oscar won a bumper at Ballinrobe in May of 2011, but she failed to follow up on that success and disappointed on her seasonal reappearance at Down Royal last month.
Top-weight Point The Toes looked set for victory as she led away from the last, however the bottom weight victor stayed on best on the run-in, hitting the front in the final 100 yards, going on to score by three and a quarter lengths at the line.
Point The Toes (13/2) had to settle for second under Shane Butler for Mark Fahey, while the 5/2 favourite Foot Solider was a length back in third under Denis Hogan for Charlie Swan.
Reilly, who trains in Granard, Co Longford, said afterwards: "My father (Liam Reilly), who has since passed on, trained her to win a bumper.
"She never got her ground last year and she needs good ground.
"I threw her in here. She was third reserve in Roscommon last week. This looked a better handicap and she was a pound out of the handicap today but we said we would take our chance."
The winner was making her handicap debut this afternoon and she was also fitted with cheekpieces for the first time.
