Oscar gains Glory at Roscommon
Oscar Glory justified favouritism when landing the concluding race on this evenings card, the Frank Hannon Memorial Handicap Chase for trainer Eddie Cawley.
Philip Enright produced the 5/2 favourite to lead at the second last and the pair kept on well to record a two and a half length win.
Winning trainer Cawley said afterwards: “He had a nice grand racing weight and he loves that quick ground.”
“He handles the tight tracks as he’s a well balanced horse which you need around here.”
“He jumps like a buck on that type of ground and we’ll hopefully pick up another one.”
