Oneoveryou landed the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap on her debut for Mark Fahey.
Originally trained by Ger Stack, the six-year-old daughter of Tagula joined the Stephen Mahon yard last September, winning three times for the Co Galway handler.
Making her debut for Fahey this afternoon she opened on-course at 16's, but came in for plenty of market support, and went off a 10/1 chance in the colours of owner Michael O'Dea.
Sent straight to the front by Conor Hoban the bay victor made all. She was challenged and ridden from over a furlong out, keeping on well to score by two lengths. Accalia (11/2) finished second under Pat Smullen for John Hayden, while Snowstar kept on to take third, another length back for Wayne Lordan and Willie McCreery. Magic Bear was sent off the 9/4 favourite, and she finished fourth with Oisin Orr in the saddle for Eddie Lynam.
Fahey said afterwards: "I only have her a couple of weeks and don't know too much about her but Conor (Hoban) knows her well.
"We just freshened her up and brought her down here to see how we got on and sure we got a good result out of it.
"She did it nicely but where we go next, I haven't a clue!"
STEWARDS REPORTS
D. O'Brien, rider of Art Nouvelle trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount moved badly on the ground.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Art Nouvelle, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have shown signs of being in season.
The Stewards requested a report from C.P. Hoban, rider, as to the apparent improvement in form of Oneoveryou, placed first, as compared with its recent form. C.P. Hoban reported that he had no significant reason for his mount's poor form in her previous run and that she had returned to good form. Having considered the report the Stewards noted its contents.
