"I think she is very good," said Gavin Cromwell, and who could argue with him after his Lady Ischia impressively landed the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race at Naas.
Patrick Mullins did the steering on the Getaway mare, second on her previous start 196 days back.
The 7/4 favourite for this two miler, Lady Ischia travelled sweetly and she stretched clear when required for a seven and a half length verdict over Florazi
"She ran well on her debut at Punchestown and she wants very soft ground. She will probably go for the Listed bumper in Navan (November 26)," elaborated Cromwell.
"She will come on from that run and she jumps brilliant. She won't hang around in bumpers too long but she's entitled to have a go at a Listed bumper."
