On The Go Again continues to go from strength to strength and he made it four wins on the bounce in the TheTote.com Handicap at Tipperary today.
The Lartigue Hurdle hero from Listowel here had Gary Carroll aboard for a 70-100 rated mile and one assignment.
The pride and joy of the County Meath based Mulvany family, the Arakan gelding, a 5/1 chance on this occasion, beat World War by a length and a half.
"He is officially going on his holidays today!" stated winning trainer Mick Mulvany in the aftermath.
The Kells-based handler then added: "He was in such good form for the last couple of weeks after Listowel, we were letting him out in a paddock and he was in that good a form I was afraid he'd hurt himself so decided we'd give him another run.
"Hopefully we'll see him in February or March and we are half-thinking of aiming him at the County Hurdle at Cheltenham. He is a 132 rated horse here so the English handicapper, according to what he gives, might give him 140 so he might scrap into the bottom of the handicap and that might give him a chance.
"He goes on every type of ground, is a good, genuine honest horse who looks after himself and doesn't do a whole lot at home. I've never won four races in-a-row before and he's now won six races this year."
