Oliver takes opener
The opening race, The Dunboyne Maiden at Fairyhouse this afternoon was won by the Andy Oliver trained In Some Respect under Pat Smullen.
Winning connections had a few anxious moments when a Stewards Enquiry was called as the winner edged slightly left close home but the Stewards made no alteration to the judge’s placings.
Smullen raced the Indian Haven colt in mid-division before improving to challenge three furlongs from home and the pair kept on well to lead close.
"He might run again this season, he's had a long tough season so time will tell. We have a couple of entries for him the most likely race we'll go for is the Listed Race in Dundalk", said a delighted Oliver.
