Odds-on Sierra Blanca wins decisively

The 8/11 favourite Sierra Blanca got the job done in a professional manner in the two-year-old maiden over a mile.
Runner-up to stablemate Cairo in the Group 3 Killavullan Stakes at Leopardstown on his previous start, Aidan O'Brien's No Nay Never colt was handy throughout and Seamie Heffernan sent him on past front-runner Sprewell over a furlong out. From there, the winner stayed on well to account for that rival by three and a quarter lengths.
“He's rated 101 and he's got plenty of experience, I would have been very disappointed if he was beaten,” said Heffernan.
“He feels like a horse who is going to train on well. He is clear winded and there is loads of him there.
“He's out of a Sadler's Wells mare who was a very genuine mile-and-a-half filly. I like him plenty.”
