O'Shea back again to give O'Hares double
Bale O'Shea the middle leg of the O'Hares treble at this meeting last year, struck again when running out a game winner of the www.E-Auctions.ie Handicap Hurdle at Naas.
Paddy Flood gave the 5/2 favourite a canny ride from the front and he always appeared to be just pulling out enough. Mutadarek arrived with a challenge at the second last but couldn't find a way past the Bob Back gelding, going down by three-parts-of-a-length.
"I do!" smiled trainer Michael O'Hare after being asked if he liked this meeting.
"Hopefully the next one can win as well. This lad did it well and Paddy said he won easy. When the other horse came to him he picked up again," said O'Hare. Sweet Shock had initiated the double in the previous race, having also been part of the treble last year when scoring in the bumper.
