O'Neill Cool on Whisper
Whisper Cool was produced with a well-timed challenge by Kieran O'Neill to land the mile-and-a-quarter handicap at Dundalk.
Willie McCreery 's charge was opening his account on the Flat having scored over hurdles at Killarney last month.
The gelding hit the front inside the final furlong and held the late charge of Lastofthemohicans by a neck. The same distances seperated the first four home.
"With the top two weights coming out he got in here perfectly. He's tough and did it well," said McCreery.
"He'll go back for a winners hurdle now on October 2nd at Gowran. I wanted to give him a Flat run in between and thought here wouldn't be too hard on him as he wants nice ground."
