O'Donoghue seen to good effect
The At The Races Kilternan (Group 3) was won by Aidan O'Briens The Bogberry ridden by Colm O'Donoghue and owned by Mrs E Stockwell.
O'Donoghue raced his mount towards rear and came from last to first on the outer from 1f out to defeat the 2/5 favourite of Dermot Weld's Famous Name by ? length.
Weld said afterwards, "The horse had a little hold up after the French Derby and just got tired today. If we had of been able to give him a run before this I think he would have won. That's why we didn't run him in The Champion Stakes. I'll have to discuss with owners and connections as to where to go next."
