Colm O'Donoghue gained big race glory with Qualify in the English Oaks recently and added the featured Listed Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Naas Oaks Trial to that tally at Naas today, steering Outstanding to an all the way win for trainer Aidan O'Brien.
The sister to Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Magician made all in her two and three parts of a length win over Stellar Glow and in the end showed a willing attitude.
O'Donoghue, whose biggest winner was in the Irish Derby with Treasure Beach in 2011, later stated "she's done it really well and went a nice even pace. She kept pulling it out and galloped all the way to the line.
"She's tough and genuine and is a sister to Magician, who was probably best at ten furlongs. She should get a mile and a half."
