Henry de Bromhead was in the winner’s enclosure this evening after he saddled 14/1 shot The Hares Corner to land the AIB (Q.R) Maiden Hurdle in the hands of Mikey O’Connor.

Winning trainer de Bromhead said afterwards, “That was grand. Mikey gave him a lovely ride and he jumped great. We will probably look at Tramore next weekend and try pick up something there.”

“He loved the ground and he wouldn’t mind it a bit faster or a bit slower. I thought he stayed at it well and Mikey was very pleased with him.”
