Dromina, Co Cork based restricted trainer Michael O'Callaghan registered his first racecourse winner when his Undergraduate bred by the Queen of England, landed the www.tramore-racecourse.com Beginners Chase at Tramore today, completing a double for jockey Martin Ferris.

Jockey Ferris has done well in recent weeks and moved onto the seven winner mark for the season on Undergraduate. The double was Ferris' second brace.

Afterwards O'Callaghan reported “I only have Undergraduate six months but he has been plagued by leg trouble. He'll go for a handicap chase next.”
