Twilight Jet is one of nine declared for the Group 3 Westgrove Hotel Renaissance Stakes at the Curragh this afternoon, with his trainer Michael O'Callaghan concerned by the rain soften ground.
Successful in Listed company at Tipperary on his most recent start, O'Callaghan is still hopeful that the four-year-old entire can build on that performance.
Speaking at Dundalk on Friday, the Curragh handler said: "Leigh (Roche) rides Twilight Jet and he got his head back in front at Tipperary the last day.
"I think he has come forward from that. Hopefully, he can build on that on Sunday.
"The only worry is that if this rain comes on Sunday and makes the ground very soft, I don't know how well he is going to handle it.
"To be fair the more rain that comes, the more it will suit the favourite Ocean Quest "
