O'Brien's reduces claim on Rajik
Apprentice jockey Joseph O'Brien partnered his third winner and thus had his claim reduced to 7lbs following a well judged ride on Rajik in the Cry Raceday at Gowran Handicap at Gowran today.
O'Brien, eldest son of trainer Aidan O'Brien, held the son of Kalanisi up in the rear, before moving his way through to lead inside the final furlong, recording a three lengths win.
Winning trainer Charlie Swan was absent while the win was 16 year old O'Brien's third winner from just 15 rides.
