I Remember You (7/1) relished her first crack at a nursery when delivering for Aidan O'Brien at Leopardstown.
She gave the champion trainer a double on the card as he also took the opener with Happen
He also had an across-the-card treble as Magna Grecia took the Group One Futurity Stakes in Doncaster with Donnacha O'Brien in the plate.
Chris Hayes was booked to do the 8st 4lb on I Remember You and his mount shot through between horses racing past the furlong pole to soon catch Leagan Gaeilge
He kept her up to her work in the final 100 yards of this seven-furlong contest to hold fast-finishing Sunblessed (7/1) by half a length. Commodus (7/1) was the same distance back in third.
“It was a nice spare to pick up. That was my first ride for Aidan, I spoke to him earlier on and he filled me up with confidence about the filly,” said Chris Hayes.
“Thankfully it worked out the way he planned and it would be nice to get another ride off him some day.” Nikeandnemesis went off 13/2 favourite with six of the remaining 10 horses sent off at 7/1 in an incredibly competitive betting heat.
