O'Brien doubles up on well-backed Oracle
Joseph O'Brien rode the second double of his career when getting Oracle (9/2 into 5/2) home by a head in the concluding Thorough-Brew Village European Breeders Fund Maiden at the Curragh.
O'Brien raced on his own on the far side on the Danehill Dancer colt and he had just enough in hand to prevail from the outsider Cocozza
Young O'Brien said afterwards: "I think that leaves me six or seven behind in the apprentice table and it's the second double of my career."
O'Brien won the handicap thirty five minutes on John Hayden's Harriers Call
