Despite giving a swish of his tail Jaqen H'Ghar (100/30 second favourite) didn't half career away inside the last, to take the Gowran Park Racing Club Nursery Handicap.
Donnacha O'Brien was on his family's home-bred Fastnet Rock colt and in the end he had three lengths in hand over Intense Stylist
"It took a couple of runs for him to get things together," said Joseph O'Brien, representing his father Aidan.
"He won nicely today and was probably entitled to win on his last run. Hopefully he'll progress and he could go to Dundalk.
"I think they went a nice gallop and that probably suited him as he should stay well. His brother (Table Rock) got better with time and I think there is better to come from him.
"I think he'll be a bit better than a handicapper but it might just take time."
