Those that took the 50/1 that was available in a couple of places overnight were handsomely rewarded when Notice To Close won the nightcap in Cork.
Brian Hayes was strong on the six-year-old grey gelding who got the better of a protracted battle with Enjoy D'allen by a neck.
The winner's SP was 11/2 while the runner-up was returned at 4/1. Stormy Judge was a morning-price gamble and the 16/5 favourite finished six and a half lengths away in third.
Trainer Seamus Neville said: "Jumping and staying is his game and certainly the further the better for him and he is a three-miler.
"He won three point-to-points and we'll be looking for three mile races for him and that ground doesn't bother him.
"Hopefully we'll find a nice staying handicap for him at some stage."
