Notalossonya gets her head in front
The Eddie Lynam trained Notalossonya came out the better of a two-way finish when claiming the ‘Bulmers Original’ Handicap under Wayne Lordan.
Lordan who made most aboard the Cadeaux Genereux filly was strongly pressed by Bob Le Beau inside the final furlong.
The 10/1 shot kept on well under a strong drive by Lordan to hold on for a short head success.
A relieved Lynam said afterwards: “I was sure she’d get ten furlongs but then the second day she looked like she didn’t stay.”
“She stayed on well even though Wayne [Lordan] lost his iron, he did really well and it seemed to make no difference to him.”
“I’m delighted for Luke [McMahon] he had a nice horse with me before and he broke his leg and this one was named as a joke.”
