Noreen is on target
The famous Mulhern red colours with a white question mark graced the winners enclosure after Good Shot Noreen got off the mark in the seven furlongs claytonhotelgalway,ie Handicap.
Wayne Lordan went for home off the home bend and quickly poached a decisive advantage on the 7/1 chance, staying on under pressure in the straight to beat Lake George (9/1) by a length and a half. Alpha And Omega (8/1) kept on another length and three quarters back in third.
Fozzy Stack, representing his father Tommy, said, “Its lovely to have a winner for the owner. Eimear (Mulhern) is on holiday down in Kerry and, as the sun was shining down there, she decided not to stay.”
