The Gordon Elliott trained Noble Endeavor justified 6/4 favouritism to win the I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF Maiden Hurdle at Punchestown today, under jockey Robbie Colgan.
The son of Flemensfirth didn't get the clearest of passages on the run to the final flight but edged ahead on the run-in before scoring a length and three parts win over Ttebob.
Afterwards Elliott stated “it was a bit rough and ready out there with plenty of runners on a tight (inside) track.
“He'll go chasing next year but first we might look at the 2m4f novice handicap at Fairyhouse, the same race that Mala Beach won last year.”
