No penalty for Peccatorum
Trainer Andrew McNamara and his son of the same name combined to win the Jogforjockeys.ie Maiden Hurdle at Tramore this evening with Peccatorum
The son of Big Bad Bob jumped to the front three out and soon went clear. An untidy jump at the final flight failed to prevent the gelding win comfortably from Winston Churchill
Afterwards McNamara Snr stated “he has been knocking on door recently but the extra half mile helped today. I was fancying him to run a big race and he’ll be kept on the go for the summer.”
He added “he is the only Big Bad Bob sired horse running over jumps at the moment and his owner, Henry Lappin, a solicitor from Dublin has been a loyal owner with me for some years.”
