Miramis saw out the 1m1f in the fillies' and mares' handicap at Punchestown really well to post a length and a half success.
She brought up plenty of bets from 28/1 in the morning and 20/1 on opening show down to an SP of 12/1.
The Gurkha filly made up ground into sixth swinging for home and stormed through between horses to land in contention at the furlong pole for Robbie Colgan.
She soon engaged top gear as she led and powered away in the final 150 yards. Dark Vega the 7/2 favourite, came home from way back to get second. Hymn Book Two (20/1) was beaten two lengths into third by the winner.
Sheila Lavery said: “I think her head gets in the way a bit. We got her palate done and I think that's maybe made the difference, she's not panicking the way she was. She never made a noise but I just went and did it and I'm delighted with her.
“She was waiting in the wings for a bit of ease in the ground. It was a good racing style for her today and a lovely big galloping track for her.
“It's not that the horses have been running bad, because they haven't and some horses have run up to the rating that they are.
“We're just down on runners because of the ground. Now I'll have run out of an excuse, that's the only problem!
“We have six runners on Thursday and I haven't had six runners for I don't know how long.”
