On her debut for Willie Mullins Klassy Kay justified odds of 4/7 in the Jetaway.ie @ Artic Tack Stud Handicap Hurdle (DIV I) at Fairyhouse.
A stable switcher to Mullins, from an earlier winning yard on this programme, Dermot McLoughlin, Klassy Kay is actually with her third trainer now, at the age of six.
She debuted for Gillian Callaghan at this venue in 2018.
The chestnut placed for that outfit, and she also secured a bronze for McLoughlin.
Klassy Kay turned those to gold here, nudged out from the last by Paul Townend to beat Trixie Mc and Howluckycanwebe by two and a half lengths and half a length.
“We didn't know a whole lot about her coming here to be honest,” said Townend.
“She was plenty keen but did it nicely. She jumps great. We'll see what the handicapper says now.”
