No catching Catcherinscratcher
Henry De Bromhead’s string is in fine form at present and his Catcherinscratcher under Davy Russell, ran out the easy 12 lengths winner of the Ballykisteen Hotel & Golf Resort Hurdle at Tipperary this afternoon. After ards De Bromhead praised Catcherinscratcher’s previous trainer, colourful Eddie Hales, saying “fair play to Eddie – he told us he was selling us ‘a fair one’ when he was selling Catcherinscratcher. I’m always giving out to him but fair play to him he was spot on with her!”
He added “Davy gave her a lovely ride and she obviously gets three miles well. She’ll go for those long distance mares’ hurdles now.”
