My Valley comes good for Gorey and Fahy
The Tote Jackpot Handicap was won by Pat Fahy's My Valley ridden by Shane Gorey in the colours of Ballyboggan Racing Syndicate.
It was a nice welcome return to the winners enclosure for jockey Shane Gorey. Shane who has been out for most of the season with a broken leg which he suffered from a fall at the tail end of last year is only back riding since Derby weekend.
Trainer Pat Fahy said afterwards, 'We have to keep at her now and hopefully she'll come back here for a 2m 2f race or 2m 5f race. She is a much stronger horse this year and has a lot more muscle. It has come together well, she really came into herself in the last two weeks.
