Music In The Rain overturned the ¼ favourite Enchanted Forest when winning the ITBA & Gain Horse Feeds Encourage Breeders to go Racing EBF Maiden under Kevin Manning.

Connections had to survive a Stewards Enquiry when the winner slightly hampered the runner-up inside the final furlong.

Manning produced the Invincible Spirit colt to lead over a furlong out and the kept on strongly to record a two length win.

Winning trainer Bolger said afterwards: “I covered the Dam then sold her and then bought him back, so it worked out well.”

“I’ve no plans, she didn’t get it right the first day she ran so we just wanted him to get it right, he’s a nice horse.”
