Flying Cross from the Aidan O’Brien stable showed a good turn of foot when coming home in front of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden under Johnny Murtagh.

Murtagh who was never too far off the pace came with a well timed run to lead inside final furlong and stayed on well for a three and half length win over Brazilian Beauty

Murtagh and Pat Smullen are now level with a total of 81 winners for the Jockeys Championship.
