Aidan O'Brien's Black Bear Island won the The Coolmore Aussie Rules EBF Maiden with Johnny Murtagh in the saddle making it a double for him this afternoon.

Murtagh had an easy task winning, he was in front and clear from 2f out and stayed on well to win by an easy 4 lengths from David Wachman's Dreamtheimpossible
