Murtagh completes quick double
Johnny Murtagh completed a quick double this evening when Jembatt came home in front of the I.T.B.A. Working For Irish Breeders (C&G) Maiden.
Eddie Lynam’s charge was sent to the front from over two furlongs out and the pair soon forged clear to record a five and a half length success.
Terry Flynn who was representing Lynam stated: “He did it very well, we’ve always thought a lot of the lad.”
“It just took awhile for the penny to drop with him, he’s a very nice horse.”
The first leg of Murtagh's double came with Eskimo when he took the opening race on this evenings card.
