Murphy's good run continues
Joe Murphy was continuing his good run when his charge Douze Points landed the Ratoath Maiden in the hands of Wayne Lordan.
A delighted Murphy said afterwards: “He has always being promising and we never considered him to be un-genuine.”
“He needs good ground and we’d been running him on soft ground and he was just losing interest as some animals do but we never lost faith in him and we’re delighted he won.”
“He will go for the Joe McGrath Memorial Premier Handicap at the Curragh on Sunday, that will be his next target.”
