The featured Grade 3 Faber Audiovisuals Ballybrit Novice Chase at Galway went to the Willie Mullins trained Twinlight (15/8f), under Ruby Walsh.
The French bred son of Muhtathir made virtually all and while untidy at both the eighth fence and again at the second last, stayed on well under pressure on the run-in for a two lengths win over Argocat
Mullins was not present but Walsh later reported “he was a bit keen early and recovered well from two mistakes. In fairness it was a good performance and he keeps surprising me.”
