Mullins records second pro winner
Emmet Mullins recorded his second winner as a professional jockey when partnering Quiscover Fontaine to win the Christmas Vouchers At Gowran Golf Shop Maiden Hurdle, for his uncle, trainer Willie Mullins.
The French bred son of Antarctique raced prominently, and despite being under pressure from before the straight, battled well for half length win over Kandari
Afterwards Mullins praised his nephew's ride on the winner before adding "I'm delighted with the way Quiscover Fontaine battled as I was a bit worried about bringing him back to two miles. He has come on a lot since his debut hurdle run and will run in a winners' race over Christmas next."
