Trainer Willie Mullins completed a double at Gowran today, in the concluding '22nd January - Thyestes Day at Gowran Park' Bumper, with Cadspeed under his son Patrick Mullins, who impressively defeated 16 rivals by 26 lengths and more.

Earlier successful with Quiscover Fontaine Mullins' Cadspeed showed plenty of 'toe' once hitting the front over a furlong out, sprinting clear in the testing conditions for his impressive win.

Mullins reported "We'll go for a winners' bumper next with Cadspeed but ideally I'd like to go jumping sooner rather than later. He is stoutly bred and is a nice stayer in the making."
