Mullins records Wexford double
Jockey Emmet Mullins completed a double at Wexford today, completing the job on his uncle Tom Mullins’ Baby Whizz in the Gorey Handicap Hurdle.
Mullins produced the son of Dr Massini to lead before the final flight before saying on well for a comfortable five lengths win over Owenacurra Milan.
Afterwards Mullins said “the handicapper crippled him for winning at Ballinrobe during the summer. Baby Whizz has grown up physically and in mind since then though and we’ll try and win another handicap with him now. Emmet was very good on him.”
