The Lacey´s Plumbing & Heating Supplies Maiden Hurdle saw Willie Mullins bring up his treble at Fairyhouse with Inn At The Park rather than hot-favourite Fishery Lane
The 6/1 chance travelled well on seasonal reappearance under Danny Mullins as the pair came through to lead narrowly two out.
A swift, nimble leap over the last saw them land full of running and they raced on to strike by four lengths from Ayiko (14/1). Fishery Lane (1/1f) came in third, beaten almost 10 lengths by the victor.
Mullins was also on the scoresheet with Majborough (1/1f) and Judicieuse Allen (7/1).
Jockey Mullins said: “That was a good performance.
"He’s always been a strong galloper at home and going hurdling at that distance was probably always going to suit him.
“He jumped good and sharp and is a lad that should be well able to make the next step up the ladder.”
