Danny Mullins recorded his fourth winner in the space of three days as doubled-up aboard Realta Rathcabhain in the BETDAQ.com 2% Commission Handicap Hurdle.

Successful aboard Bowenscourt thirty-five minutes earlier, Mullins combined with Des McDonogh to complete his brace.

Off the track for over two years Realta Rathcabhain won on his return to action at Limerick in June, before finishing fifth and second on his next two starts.

Sent off an 11/2 chance today the eleven-year-old son of Goldmark chased the leaders and was third with a circuit to race.

He was ridden after two out and improved into second before the last, keeping on well to lead on the run-in before going on to score three parts of a length. Indian Rupee (9/2), who attempted to make all, had to settle for second under David Mullins for his father Tom, while Happy As Larry (13/2) was a further two and a quarter lengths back in third under Barry Geraghty for James Motherway.

Recent course and distance winner See Me Here was sent off the 4/1 favourite, and he finished another length and a half back in fourth under Luke Dempsey for Denis Cullen.

Des McDonogh, who trains the winner for his wife Helen, said afterwards: "He ran very well in Galway and even when he was fifth in Limerick he was only beaten two lengths.

"He's a grand horse. He's eleven now and hasn't run that many times.

"It's beautiful ground - good jumping ground. I don't think he'll be a winter horse."
