Mullins at his best
Danny Mullins was at his best when getting up in the closing stages to land the Garlow Cross Handicap aboard 9/2 shot Our Nana Rose
Winning trainer Pat Martin said afterwards: “Danny really gets on well with her and we knew she had it won 100 yards from the finish as she battles well.”
“We put cheek pieces on her today because we were dropping her back in trip, I don’t really know how much of a difference they really made.”
“We’ve a couple of entries over the weekend and we’ll surely use one of them. She’s in a mile and half race in Leopardstown on Monday that might just suit her.”
