Successful in the opener courtesy of Our Boy Wes Emmet Mullins and Donagh Meyler doubled their tally with Sea Music in the Connolly's Red Mills Irish EBF Auction Maiden Hurdle.
Previously trained by Colin McBratney, the Sea Moon five-year-old finished third on his racecourse debut in a bumper at Galway.
Starting off over flights this evening and sent off the 11/10 favourite, he made virtually all.
Pushed along after the last, he soon increased his advantage and came home 12 lengths clear of Our Girl Sal (5/1) in second.
Outsider Rewrite The Script (33/1) was a head away in third, while second favourite Bob The Builder (3/1) faded tamely from two out and eventually finished a well-beaten sixth.
"It was a very taking performance, he looked like he stepped up from his first experience in Galway," Mullins said.
"It might look like we left a bumper behind now, but it was a great opportunity here with this auction race, such good prize money and the EBF bonus as well. So he was running for a lot of money here tonight and it's a lot easier for me to sell these horses with these bonuses on offer. The Mees have got a good bit back this evening of what they paid for this horse.
"He wants a trip and decent ground and there's definitely an engine there. He needs more experience but he won't be a horse for winter ground."
