Placed over three miles on her previous two starts, Moyvilla Lass (6/1) recorded her first victory in the 2m4f Kerry Drain Services Handicap Hurdle.
Gary Noonan brought the daughter of Shirocco from mid-division to get into contention at the second-last. Soon in front, the six-year-old drew clear to readily beat Craic Eile by six lengths.
Winning trainer Eoin McCarthy, whose wife Saoirse had their third daughter yesterday, said: "She was knocking on the door and was a shade unlucky in Kilbeggan so this is lovely for the owner Martin Coyne from Galway. She loves that good ground so we'll keep her rocking along.
"She was entitled to win her race and Gary gave her a lovely ride."
