Mosman cosy winner for Butler
Mosman Park ran out a convincing winner of the first division of the Harvest Festival Handicap Hurdle at Listowel.
Johnny Allen hit the front two out on the gelding as Moon Prince who had been travelling well crashed out.
The Michael Butler-trained 8/1 shot kept on strongly from before the last to post a five-length winning margin over Back In The Day who got up close home for second from Make It Better
Claimer Mikey Butler, who is currently on the sidelines, was representing his father:-
"We only have the horse two or three months and got him from John Shearman who didn't renew his licence. He had plenty done when we got him.
"He could run again at Clonmel on Thursday, depending on the ground as he wants a cut.
"I've been out since Limerick three weeks ago as I fractured two vertebrae in my back but I hope to be back in two weeks time."
Bryan Cooper, who was on board faller Moon Prince, suffered a suspected fractured collarbone.
