Ian Brennan is enjoying a wonderful time lately on Bubbly Bellini and the 3Ib claimer again showed his ability in the saddle when guiding Jeremy's Girl to success in the Louis Roederer Handicap at Down Royal for trainer Lester Winters.
A first success for the County Louth trainer since Vivacious Vivienne scored at Dundalk in November 2009, the 14/1 chance Jeremy's Girl made all and she stayed on well from over a furlong out to beat Emotional Dream by a length and a quarter.
Peter Morris of the winning Rome Syndicate, said: "It's called the Rome Syndicate as my daughter got married out there.
"I'm involved in around forty horses in Dunleer and that's our first winner in quite a few years. Our last one was up here too.
"I told the jockey to get out in front and stay there – irrespective of what the trainer told him – and it's worked out well." (MG & EM)
